Daniel Meynet's story began in Santa Barbara, California, where he was born on July 22, 1993. His childhood was infused with a strong enthusiasm for sports and the outdoors, leading him to engage in competitive athletics early on. This dedication evolved into a professional career in AMA Supercross and Motorcross.
He pursued higher education at Arizona State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Communication. His academic journey was marked by excellence, as he graduated magna cum laude with a 3.68 GPA and was consistently on the Dean's List. He is enhancing his education by pursuing an MBA via correspondence from Adams State University, where he has achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Professional Athlete Journey
Between 2010 and 2014, he competed professionally in AMA Supercross and Motorcross. During this period, he reached a world ranking of 21 and remained within the top 30 of the AMA global rankings. As a dual citizen of the USA and Switzerland, he took pride in representing Switzerland internationally.
His role extended beyond competition; he mentored young athletes aged 5 to 28. He focused on all aspects of their development, including mental, physical, dietary, and wellness, leveraging his professional insights to guide and improve their performance. He also managed sponsorships, media relations, and fan engagement, deepening his connections within the sport.
Overcoming Adversity
In October 2014, Daniel Meynet’s life took a dramatic turn when he suffered a traumatic brain injury, resulting in a seven-day coma. His recovery became a source of inspiration for many, and he turned his experience into advocacy for brain injury awareness. He partnered with Cottage Hospital to create an inspirational video. He served as a speaker and ambassador for the Love Your Brain Foundation, organizing wellness summits to promote resilience and health.
Shift to Sales and Marketing
Post-racing, he ventured into sales and marketing. His roles in various companies allowed him to hone his client engagement and campaign management skills. At Happy Linen in 2016, he excelled as a Sales Coordinator, expanding the company's market share and securing significant accounts, including the Solvang Hotel.
In 2017, he joined Swell Athletic Clubs as a corporate sales and marketing coordinator, significantly contributing to membership growth and forging key B2B and B2C relationships. His tenure at Ontraport as a Business Solutions Intern involved creating sales materials and conducting market research, presenting his findings to company leaders to optimize sales strategies. At Sol Republic, he managed extensive social media campaigns and collaborated on product design, including projects that featured celebrity endorsements like Tiger Woods.
Thriving in the Fitness Industry
Daniel's passion for sports seamlessly transitioned him into his current role as a personal trainer at Crunch Fitness in Boulder, Colorado. Since May 2023, he has been helping clients achieve their health and wellness objectives through tailored fitness and nutrition plans. He holds certifications from ISSA and is trained in CPR and AED, applying a holistic approach to wellness that draws on his extensive athletic background.
Dedication to Golf and Pickleball
Outside the gym, he remains active in golf and pickleball. A skilled golfer with a +5 handicap, he has triumphed in several long-drive competitions. His enthusiasm for pickleball reflects his entrepreneurial ambitions as he explores opportunities to expand his presence in the sports community.
Commitment to Philanthropy
His philanthropic efforts include supporting the Love Your Brain Foundation and Road2Recovery, which focus on aiding individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries. These initiatives underscore his dedication to assisting others facing physical, mental, or emotional challenges.

He enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and engaging with diverse cultures and people in his spare time. Whether on the golf course, at a pickleball court, or traveling, he continues to connect with and inspire those around him.
